Each year at this fun and exciting annual event we do amazing makeovers on 3 women who are chosen by the crowd. We bring them back to the salon for the “royal treatment” – color, haircut, wax, makeup, and wardrobe makeover. Then we bring them back to the event for the big reveal!
On October 4, 2015, Hair Expressions presented Expressions “Circus of Dreams” fundraising event to benefit Make-A-Wish Minnesota.
Through this event, Hair Expressions hoped to raise funds to grant a wish to a Minnesota child dealing with a life-threatening medical condition. Through hard work and dedication of the Hair Expressions team, clients and community we were successful beyond our hopes and were able to raise $13,000, enough to grant the wishes of not one, but TWO deserving children!
Expressions “Circus of Dreams” was a high fashion circus inspired performance. The event was hosted by Jimmy’s Banquet Center. Entertainment, including music, models, dancers and circus acts were provided along with refreshments, a silent auction and prize drawings.
Hair Expressions accepted donations from Corporate Sponsorship / Monetary Donations, our community, services provided by your companies that contributed to the event, silent auctions
and prize drawing items.
Make-A-Wish of Minnesota is a non-profit 501 C 3 organization (Federal ID #41-1422893) that grants the wishes of Minnesota children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Since its founding in 1982, more than 4000 special wishes have been granted to children throughout the state.
In support of “The Pink Fund,” we donated 10% of proceeds when you purchased any pink products in the month of October 2014. We also donated $5 from many of our services towards the Pink Fund.

Unable to work, breast cancer patients experience a loss of income that can result in catastrophic financial losses. The Pink Fund provides up to 90 days of non-medical financial aid to cover basic cost of living expenses.

“THROUGH THE AGES” FOR MAKE-A-WISH MINNESOTA
SUCCESS! $27,000 Raised!!! A CHILD’S WISH GRANTED!
On September 29, 2013 Hair Expressions presented Expressions “Through the Ages.”
Through this event, Hair Expressions raised funds to grant a wish to a Minnesota child dealing with a life-threatening medical condition.
This fun event showcased models from the 1920’s to the 1980’s and demonstrated how these looks are still current today. The event was hosted by Jimmy’s Banquet Center, and featured entertainment, including music, models and dancers. Refreshments were provided and a silent auction was held.

Through the combined efforts and generosity of our wonderful clients, our staff, and our sponsors we were able to raise $27,000 for MAKE A WISH MINNESOTA!!! A local child made a wish, the wish was heard and was granted.

our stylists that needed to retire because of this life threatening
disease.
Inspire Change Cut-a-thon 2005 – Hosted a cut-a-thon to raise
money for a company that makes wigs for cancer patients.
